A gold medalist during his graduation in 2015 with a B.V.A in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Rashesh Chauhan works from his personal visual experience of the city after dusk. Using the material potential of rust on metal, he works on the subject matter that reflects neglect and remembering. The play between spatial qualities and two dimensionality reveals the tension between the idea of reality and illusion.
