Digbijayee Khatua received a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts in 2012 from B. K. College of Art and Crafts, Bhubaneshwar, and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts in 2015 from College of Art, Delhi University. Most recently, he was selected for Kochi Biennale Foundation’s Post-Graduate residency programme at Vagamon, Kerala, 2015 and PEERS 2015, a four-week residency programme at KHOJ International Artists’ Association, Delhi. His work has been exhibited at Gallery Art Positive, Delhi, 2015, National Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi, 2015, Kochi-Muziris Student’s Biennale, 2014, Indo-Korea Art Exhibition, Delhi, 2013, among others. His awards include the 62nd Annual College of Art First Prize for Painting, 2015, Kala Sakshi Memorial Award, Delhi, 2014, AIFACS First Prize for Painting, Delhi, 2013. Digbijayee is from Odisha and is currently based in New Delhi.
